 Working out is so important not just physically, but mentally. I use to be such a work-out queen and really want to get back into it. Not to mention I am fortunate to live in Los Angeles which has some great hiking spots. Activewear and gear has been evolving for years with brands coming out with fun designs and creations. Lululemon and GapFit are among the favorites. Recently I was browsing the Anthropologie website and saw their activewear which is insanely cute with great prints. Not surprising as it's Anthropologie. You can even find a yoga mat that looks like a magic carpet! Even if you are breaking a sweat,  you can still be stylish.

I remember back when I was a little one slip-ons never seemed fashionable. Over the years they have become so much more. High end designers creating them, wacky patterns and different textures. The right pair can make a simple casual outfit have a little more pep. I love the slip-ons Vans and Kenzo collaborated on. In fact, I recently saw a fashionable mother at Whole Foods wearing them. She paired them with some boyfriend jeans, a white tee and a nice chunky sweater. The color were muted, but the sneakers just made the outfit. Almost like how jewelry can add the perfect touch to a look. Super cute! Here are some of my favorites from Nordstroms. Which pair are you adding to your wish list? Have a great weekend.

I have to do things for myself." - Kate Moss. What's not to love?  This woman is bright, tough, quirky, stunning, vulnerable, elegant, creative, influential, the list could gone on. And I've never even met Moss!  She has changed the way we look at fashion, design and advertising. Even at the age of 40 she is gorgeous, her style is effortless. One of my favorite Moss ads from the 90s Calvin Klein ad with Mark Wahlberg. The campaign got people talking about the 'heroin chic' look and the fact that the topless model straddled the actor. This is a great photo of Fratelli Rossetti loafers from the 70's. Fantastic and beautifully composed. Hats off to the photographer and stylist. Thinking warm thoughts as it starts to feel a little more like winter in LA.

This little slice of heaven is way too adorable. I am almost attempted to purchase the largest size hoping it might fit. Maybe baby tees will come back soon. The neckline and trim are so bite size, along with the pocket. For those who dare are able to spend a penny or two on your kids clothing, do them a favor a dress the tykes up in Marni. This geometric top can be purchased at Barney's.
